I can't believe 2016 is over, it went by so fast!
I wanted to share with you the books I've read in 2016. I will also share my 2017 reading goals soon!
Here's an overview of the books I've read in 2016 in reading order :)

Spellbound
Author: Cate Tiernan
This is the sixth book in the Sweep series by Cate Tiernan about wicca. It's a series aimed at the younger audience, but it can still  beenjoyable for other ages.

Rating: 3 stars

I've reviewed all previous books:
Blood Witch
Dark Magick
Awakening

City of Glass
Author: Cassandra Clare
This is the third book in the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
I 've also reviewed the previous books in this series:
City of Bones
City of Ashes
Rating: 4.5 stars

Old Greek Stories
Author: James Baldwin

I've listened to these stories and really enjoyed them. I was Always interested in mythology, so it was nice to hear a few stories that I didn't now of.
Rating: 3 stars

The Jungle Book
Author: Rudyard Kipling
I did enjoy listening to the Jungle Book, even though I thought it was gonna be about Mowgli, there were also other stories that were told in this book.
Rating: 3 stars

Clockwork Angel
Author: Cassandra Clare

I must say I really prefer this trilogy to the Mortal Instruments series. The characters, the historical elements, the story. All were really interesting! I definitely recommend this trilogy!
Rating: 5 stars

Clockwork Prince
Author: Cassandra Clare
This trilogy only gets better with each book! Loved reading it!
Rating: 5 stars

Clockwork Princess
Author: Cassandra Clare
Normally I don't really like last books in a series, but this one didn't disappoint! Really loved the epilogue as well!
Rating: 5 stars

City of Fallen Angels
Author: Cassandra Clare
This was an enjoyable read, although some parts really dragged on.
Rating: 3.5 stars

City of Lost Souls
Author: Cassandra Clare

This book was similar to CIty of fallen Angels, but the last part was action packed!
Rating: 3.5 stars

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Author: Jack Thorne, John Tiffany & J.K Rowling
I don't really see this book as a book written by J.K.Rowling. It is totally different and not that great. I guess it was okay.
Rating: 2.5 stars

Jane Eyre
Author: Charlotte Bronte

This book was amazing! I've read it in the summer and loved it! I definitely wanna read more classics this year :)
Rating: 4.5 stars

The Calling
Author: Cate Tiernan

It not a very inspiring book, just a fun book for in between big books. When I want something quick and easy to read, I'll go for books like this.
Rating: 2.5 stars
Cinder
Author: Marissa Meyer

Loved the beginning of the Lunar Chronicles! Very interesting take on fairytales in the future!
Rating: 4.5 stars

City of Heavenly Fire
Author: Cassandra Clare
It was a nice ending to a 6-book series. Full review is coming soon!
Rating:

Scarlet
Author: Marissa Meyer

I liked reading scarlet, although it had some parts that weren't that interesting.
Rating: 4 stars

Cress
Author: Marissa Meyer

Cress is the favorite of all the books in the Lunar Chronicles I've read so far! Love Thorne & Cress!
Rating: 5 stars

So in total I've read 16 books in 2016. Considering that 2016 was a very busy year for me, with lots of studying, I'm pretty pleased with the amount of books I've read.

  1. Love the Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices! Old Greek Stories seems interesting, I'm adding it on Goodreads :) I started The Jungle Book a while ago but didn't finish it, I guess I'll try the audiobok sometime. Loved the post!
